Gold’s Gym is another brand through ICON Fitness. This brand gets its reputation from its parent company. ICON Fitness has built quite the name for itself and it is an extremely trustworthy company. Every brand that ICON touches seems to turn into gold. Gold’s Gym may turn out to be quite the success story after all. ICON Fitness just put their brand into Walmart, which may spark an interest in the public.
Its not bad that Gold’s Gym may spark popularity, because the brand isn’t half bad. It is definitely not the best on the market, but it is perfect for starters. Anyone who wants to buy their first treadmill and wants to start off slow will love this brand. Not to mention it is cheap! ICON Fitness holds its popularity for a reason. They have taken the consumer’s interests because they figured out that they could buy better quality parts for cheap and then sell their fitness equipment for cheap, which pleases their customers.
Gold’s Gym treadmills are pretty basic. Their motors do not have much power and their tread belts lack sufficient size. However, they are supposedly pretty reliable as long as you take care of them. These treadmills are not meant to sprint on. They are perfect for walking and light jogging. If you want to train for marathons or do any intense training, then I would not recommend buying this brand.
ICON Fitness has done it again. They can’t seem to create a horrible treadmill. Every brand they own makes a decent treadmill and its because they’ve figured out how to please the consumer. Their brand, Gold’s Gym, has recently been brought to Walmart, so it should become more popular in the near future. I would recommend this brand of treadmill if you prefer a simple treadmill for walking and light jogging. It would be perfect for someone who wants a cheap, dependable treadmill. If you want a more sturdy treadmill that will hold your weight while you run intensely, I would upgrade to ICON’s other brands such as, NordicTrack or ProForm.
