They are known for their low, affordable price. Anyone can afford these things. There are not many Image treadmills that are over $600 and you can buy them for that cheap brand new.
There are many pros for the Image treadmills. First off, they are very popular and they have a decent name in the treadmill world. Reviews say that if your treadmill breaks down, it won’t be difficult to find a repairman because there are so many being sold today. Also, because of their popular name, an owner won’t have problem re-selling their treadmill, because people trust the brand. Last, Image treadmills are great for your home because they come in a compact size and they can be folded up very easily.
Just like any other treadmill, Image has its cons. The Image treadmills do not have strong motors. They range from 1.75 to 2.5 HP, which is definitely weak. Most people will not settle for this, because you cannot do much with that motor. This motor will only bare walking and a light, very light jog. So if you plan on running at all, then these treadmills are just not an option. People also complain about the short tread belts, especially the users that enjoy taking long strides.
The Image brand has created a decent reputation for itself and they offer affordable treadmills for consumers. They are great treadmills if you plan on only walking or jogging lightly on them. People seem to like this brand and their treadmills. However, if you are looking for a more advanced treadmill you won’t like these. The Image treadmills are just basic, easy treadmills designed for mild exercise. If you over do it on this treadmill you may break or wear down the parts, which would be very unfortunate because Image does not offer a great warranty.
