Expert Reviews

Here’s what some of the experts online are saying about the NordicTrack C900 Pro treadmill:

“When you compare it with the C 900 you wonder why you have to pay more. If you can get it for the same price, then it is worth taking a look.” -Treadmill Doctor

“If you like the idea of having more workout apps to run with and would like an accurate reading for your heart rate, definitely go with the C900 Pro. If you do not care so much about those, look into getting the regular C900. Be aware though in the past the C900 Pro has been on sale cheaper than the regular C900 which makes the Pro a better value by far.” -TreadmillReviews.com

“With its good warranty and many appealing features, the C 900 PRO can easily become the centerpiece of any home gym and provide many trouble-free years of training.” -TreadmillReviews.net

“Nordic Track C900 Pro is an upgrade version of Nordic Track C900 Treadmill with few add-in like more workout program, minor change on console for newer look and more convenient heart rate monitoring at handler bar. Nordic Tack C900 treadmill is getting famous due to it comes with a lot of attractive features with less at $999 price point. If Nordic Track is offering C900 Pro in same price point, of course we’d recommend this C900 Pro treadmill and rate it as our best buy for 2012.” -iFitnessTreadmill.com

User Reviews

Read what users are saying about this treadmill over at Sears and on the NordicTrack site.

“Console doesn’t work after using it maybe 15 times or so in 40ish days. Not buying this brand ever again.”

“Extremely difficult to assemble, screws are cheaply made and break, some pieces do not line up, and some screws are not even long enough for their job. I am very unhappy, I thought I was purchasing a quality piece of equipment, but ended up being diappointed with this Nordic Track. And Sears customer service and extended warranty plan were less than helpful. Save your money!”

“I bought this from Nordic track directly. Chest strap works well. Hand sensors don’t really work at all. Called customer service, who argued with me that they were working well, and nothing could be done. He actually hung up on me. Poor customer service.”

“I love this treadmill. I jog 7 miles a day and this treadmill keeps up with me. ifit live is a great tool. I did have a problem with the chest monitor. I called the service department and within 15 minutes I was taken care of and a new monitor is on it’s way at no charge to me.”

“This is my first treadmill purchase and so far it has exceeded my expectations. Customer service was excellent and very helpful and through in a free floor mat.”

“The wireless heartrate monitor is a real plus. I especially like the 4 cushioning elements. It gives the platform more spring than the solid road, but I appreciate the added care to my joints. I recommend purchasing the in-home setup unless you are handy. I like the relatively quite motor.”

Conclusion

The NordicTrack C900 Pro is inexpensive. With that said, you are probably better off spending a little more money on a treadmill that is going to last. If you can get this treadmill for the same price or even cheaper than the C900 (which does and will happen) and you have a sweet tooth for the cheaply made C900, go for it. Otherwise, hold off for a more durable and trusted model.
