Expert Reviews

Here’s what the experts are saying about the NordicTrack T 8.0 Treadmill:

“The number of improved specs on the T8.0, while nice, is not worth such a drastic price jump. There may come a sale sometime where you can find the T8.0 more affordable, but the improvements made to the T8.0 are maybe worth ~$150, not $600.” -TreadmillReviews.com

“How can NordicTrack offer so much for so little? They are part of Icon Fitness, which is the largest fitness equipment manufacturer in the world. With their economy of scale they are able to undersell the competition. Furthermore, they have vast resources to develop leading edge technology, like iFit Live.

“There is no other treadmill at $800 that is comparable to this value package.” -Fred Waters

“…at a potential sale price of $999 or even $799 when it’s on sale, the Nordictrack T8.0 may be standard but it’s a solid piece of machinery that won’t break the bank. Worth taking a second look at once it’s discounted.” -Which ICON Treadmill

User Reviews

These reviews come from users that bought their T 8.0 from Sears. Read more of their reviews here.

“I purchased this machine about a week ago, and so far am very impressed with it. It is very quiet. Setup wasn’t too bad if you take your time. Two people would be best, but it can be done with one person.Everything was in the box. Had no issues with anypart of setup.”

“I wasn’t sure about owning a treadmill. I mean, there’s the great outdoors for walking, right? I have to say, though, that having the NordicTrack T8 in my house is beyond great.

It’s right there and ready anytime of the day, day or night. There’s nothing I have to do but turn it on and set my speed and incline or choose one of the many exercise routines built-in.

I love the extra long belt length and easy-to-read console. All in all, I’m 100% satisfied with this purchase.”

“I purchased a Nordic Track Treadmill Model NTL080091 on 1/9/11 from Sears in Portland Oregon. Paid for delivery and installation as well as a 3 year on-site repair/service contract. The product has not worked since the day after it was installed.”

Conclusion

The NordicTrack T 8.0 is getting older, but it is still a great treadmill. If you can find this treadmill on Sale or on Clearance somewhere, it might be a good buy. Don’t spend more than 700 dollars for it. It’s not exactly built to last but it will get the job done for a few years.
