AllisonH
When do you need to, or should you put a treadmill mat under your treadmill in your home?
Sydney - Guru Team
Hi Allison, great question. We recommend using a treadmill mat under your treadmill at home in general. If you have carpet, the carpet fibers can get into the motor overtime. Also, if you have hard floors, the treadmill can also scratch them and slip on them, so to avoid this we encourage users to use a treadmill mat. Alby
A treadmill mat isn't required under a treadmill on a concrete floor correct?
Sydney - Guru Team
You can place your treadmill on concrete, but you might want a mat to help keep it in place.

Sydney - Guru Team
A rubber gym floor mat should work well.

I purchased an AmazonBasics mat a few months ago to go on our hardwood floors. I’m satisfied with it!
