bdwiggins
I love to exercise. I hate to run. Let me rephrase; I hate running just to run. I love to play soccer or football or frisbee or tag or anything where running is required. But put me on a track and tell me to run, place me on a treadmill and tell me to run, or even plot out a map around town and tell me to run - and I hate it. Any way for me to break this lack of motivation for running? I'd love to have a treadmill, but as of right now, I know it wouldn't be put to use. Sydney - Guru Team
Great question. Would having a virtual instructor that guides you through a run help motivate you? Or would you like to watch a movie or tv show while you run? I'm the same way with running, I either need the motivation from a trainer-led class, or I need to be occupied with a good show in order to get in some miles on a treadmill. There's plenty of content and entertainment choices on home treadmills nowadays. I know a monthly subscription fee can also be a motivating factor, kind of like a gym membership.
