JustAddCoffee
My ProForm 2000 is about four months old and straight out of the box has made a rather loud seal bark sound when at a jog/run pace at inclines between 1% and - 1%. There’s no sound at a walking pace or at any pace with incline above 1% or below -1%. What do I need to lubricate, tighten or adjust to stop this noise when the deck is at or near level? Video of sound attached for reference. IMG_2407.MOV
Sydney - Guru Team
Unfortunately, I'm unable to watch the video you added so I can't hear the sound. It might be that the belt is misaligned and/or needs lubricating. If this doesn't fix it, it might be something with the motor. The warranty should cover this if realigning/lubricating/tightening the belt doesn't fix it.
JustAddCoffee
Thank you. I’ve removed the motor hood and inspected everything. No interference. The sound seems to be from the deck cushioning bounce when level or nearly level.the downward push impact from each step makes the left side “bark.”I just can’t find the spring or hydronic part that needs lubricant. I’ve opened a support ticket with iFit and will hopefully get this guy a little quieter for those early morning workout while the house sleeps.
