That’s about the limit of recommended overhead clearance for a treadmill. A room with a low ceiling may not allow for enough overhead clearance if the treadmill inclines above 10%. To assess whether a treadmill will fit in your room, we recommend buyers determine the height of the treadmill when fully inclined, add the height of the tallest user, and then add another 12-18” for safe overhead clearance.
