We are getting close to having treadmills that you can use everywhere. 2-in-1 treadmills are probably the closest. One of the most popular, at least on Amazon, is the GoPlus SuperFit 2-in-1.

This treadmill has close to 11k reviews, at least as of this writing. It’s extremely affordable and built for use practically anywhere—what could be wrong?

We regularly test and use small treadmills, like the GoPlus. Some are hits, while a few are misses. The GoPlus SuperFit has thousands of positive reviews, but is it a hit? Can you use it everywhere, and can you run on it? Let’s get into everything you should know.

The GoPlus SuperFit 2-in-1 is the kind of treadmill that will make your money go pretty far. It can be used under your desk while you work, on its own in the middle of a room, and then it slides under a bed or couch conveniently. I’m not sure if a treadmill can do much more than that.

Although it’s not a treadmill to hit a PR on- unless you’re shooting to hit a PR for the number of steps you take while typing- the GoPlus is pretty enticing. Add in the fact that it is a crowd-pleaser on Amazon; you have a pretty solid little treadmill for well under $500.

For what it is and its price, we can see why the GoPlus SuperFit 2-in-1 is so popular and well-loved. But is all of this enough to make it a great treadmill for you? You’ll need to keep reading to get the whole picture before buying.

What We Like
  • The handles are adjustable to fold up to use this treadmill on its own, and they fold flat to use under a desk.
  • It is very versatile and affordable.
  • This is a compact treadmill that can be used for walking and light jogging.
  • It folds flat to be stored under a bed or couch, and it only weighs around 70 lbs.
  • The speeds go up to 2.5 mph at a desk and 7.5 mph on its own.
Areas for Improvement
  • The deck might not provide enough surface to run at higher speeds.
  • This isn’t best for moderate to heavy use.

We’ve Got A Decade’s Worth of Treadmill Knowledge

We have years of experience testing treadmills. Among those treadmills are several under-desk treadmills and 2-in-1 models we’ve reviewed. Although we don’t have the GoPlus SuperFit 2-In-1 Treadmill in our studio for testing yet, we’ve spent a lot of time using similar models.

From our experience, we can get a good idea of how a treadmill will perform based on its list of features and specs. We’ve used similar treadmills like the WalkingPad R2 2-In-1 and the Redliro 2-In-1, so we’ve drawn some comparisons of these models to the GoPlus SuperFit throughout this spec review.

Editor’s Note 6/25/2024: To ensure this review is helpful to consumers, we’ve updated it with our latest review standards and checked with the manufacturer to be sure all of the information is correct.

Dimensions/Storability

The GoPlus Superfit 2-in-1 Treadmill boasts a compact yet highly versatile design, making it an excellent option for small spaces. Weighing just 69.5 lbs, it’s lightweight enough for easy maneuvering while still offering a respectable user weight capacity of up to 265 lbs. This is slightly higher than other compact models like the Redliro or WalkingPad C2, which are rated for lower weight limits.

The GoPlus Superfit is ideal for those looking for a treadmill primarily for walking or light jogging. It’s especially well-suited for users who need a compact machine to use at a desk or in smaller spaces like apartments. Its unfolded dimensions are 52.5” L x 29” W x 44.5” H, while its folded dimensions shrink down to 55” L x 29” W x 5” H, making it incredibly easy to store.

The slim design makes it perfect for sliding under a bed or couch, and the handle folds down flat, so it only takes up a few inches of space. The GoPlus Superfit can also be stored upright, leaning against a wall. It features sturdy feet under the motor and deck, allowing it to stand securely without damaging the motor. Other models, like the LifeSpan under-desk treadmills, lack this upright storage feature, giving the GoPlus an edge in convenience.

This highlights the compact and versatile nature of the GoPlus Superfit 2-in-1, emphasizing its storability and ease of use for small spaces!

Onboard Workouts & Apps

Most treadmills, even tiny ones, are Bluetooth-enabled. Even though the GoPlus SuperFit 2-in-1 Folding Treadmill doesn’t have a touchscreen, it still pairs with compatible apps on your device. There’s also a rack for your phone or tablet to stream whatever you want. However, I’d recommend just parking this small treadmill in front of your TV if you’re worried about getting bored with it.

Console

The console appears to be an LED display built into the motor hood. This is pretty standard for most under-desk treadmills and even some 2-in-1 models. The display shows your time, speed, distance, and calories when you’re using the GoPlus SuperFit.

The handles don’t appear to have any display or controls on them so you’ll have to use the handheld remote when the handles are up and down. Most under-desk treadmills come with handheld remotes and in our experience, you don’t want to lose the remote because you won’t be able to use the treadmill.

The GoPlus SuperFit treadmill is Bluetooth-enabled to connect your device. There is a speaker built into the console next to the display so you can play your own music through it.

App And Other Features

The GoPlus SuperFit is also compatible with the Gymax app. This is where you can track your workouts. You can also control the treadmill using the app on your phone, which is really helpful. WalkingPad Treadmills offer this, and it is helpful when you don’t want to use the remote.

Build Quality

The GoPlus SuperFit 2-In-1 Folding Treadmill is a compact, versatile treadmill for use under a desk and on its own. It only weighs around 70 lbs, so we assume it is fairly easy to roll around. There are two wheels on the front under the deck, so when you lift the back end, the wheels engage.

The deck sits right on the floor, and when the handles fold down on either side of the deck, the treadmill is only a few inches high, so it can be stored under a bed or couch.

Frame

The frame is made out of steel with other components made out of ABS plastic. We anticipate that the GoPlus SuperFit will be pretty stable and steady because it sits directly on the floor. It shouldn’t rock or move around when you’re using it.

It also handles up to 265 lbs so it has a good weight limit despite its small size. Many comparable treadmills only have 220 lb weight limits, like the Redliro.

A nice aspect of the console and handles is the collapsible side handles that extend along the sides of the deck when the handles and uprights are folded up. Most 2-in-1 treadmills and compact treadmills, in general, only have front handles with consoles to hang on to. So, we like the added side handles on the GoPlus.

Something to keep in mind is that the handles don’t look to be adjustable once folded upright. The WalkingPad R2, in comparison, has handles that you can raise depending on your height. The GoPlus SuperFit’s handles look to remain the same height when upright. Their height seems similar to the Redliro’s handles, which go up to the height of my waist. I’m about 5’1” for reference. If you’re taller, the handles might feel a little short.

Motor

The GoPlus SuperFit 2-In-1 Treadmill has a 2.25 HP motor. Although the description says it is “ultra-quiet” it is impossible for us to know for sure until we’re able to test it. This motor does offer a good range of speed to work with. When the handles are upright, the belt can move all the way up to 7.5 mph. This is comparable to the WalkingPad R2 and the Redliro.

With the handles collapsed to the sides of the deck, the speed increases to 2.5 mph. I am only able to walk and work at my desk at 1.5-2 mph, so this speed should be enough for most people. Typing and walking at the same time is hard!

With this size motor, I recommend using the GoPlus for light walking and jogging. Because of the small design and affordable price, this treadmill isn’t meant to handle several miles/hours of use per day.

Deck

A big aspect of why the GoPlus SuperFit is so compact is the deck. The walking surface is 16” wide and 39.3” long. It is close in size to the Redliro 2-In-1 as well as other small under-desk treadmills we’ve used, like the WalkingPad C2.

The deck is fairly narrow, so it might take some getting used to, especially when using this treadmill under a desk. If you work at a large desk, use two monitors, or just can’t walk in a straight line very well like me, you might find you need to peek down at your feet occasionally to make sure you’re staying centered on the belt.

The length of the deck might also be a bit limiting when it comes to running. The Redliro has a 41” long deck, and I’m not able to run at the treadmill’s highest speed of 7.5 mph. I have a fairly short stride. I’m only able to walk and slowly jog. I assume the same would be true on the GoPlus. 39” isn’t a lot of room so some people might only be able to walk.

A huge plus about the size of the deck is that this treadmill should be able to fit under most standing desks, and it takes up a small amount of space in your home.

Warranty

The GoPlus SuperFit 2-In-1 Treadmill comes with a 3-month warranty.

Should You Buy The GoPlus SuperFit 2-in-1 Folding Treadmill?

The GoPlus SuperFit 2-In-1 Folding Treadmill is a small treadmill that can be used under most standing desks as well as in the middle of a room. The handles fold down along either side of the deck to slide it under a desk or under a bed or couch when you’re not using it.

The handles also fold up, and additional folding side handles are available for balance when using this treadmill on its own. The speed range goes up to 7.5 mph when the handles are up to allow for walking and jogging.

We recommend the GoPlus SuperFit for lighter, more casual use because of the treadmill’s small size and its very affordable price. For an inexpensive option to get in your steps at home and at your desk, the GoPlus SuperFit 2-In-1 Folding Treadmill is a good one to consider.

GoPlus SuperFit 2-in-1 Treadmill Q&A / FAQ

Can you run on the GoPlus SuperFit Treadmill?

This treadmill goes up to 7.5 mph. Not everyone will be able to use it at that speed, though. Because the deck is only 38.3” long, some people will only be able to jog. Those who have a short enough running stride to reach 7.5 mph might not find this pace is quick enough to run on.

Does the SuperFit Treadmill have an app?

The GoPlus SuperFit features app control, meaning you can adjust the treadmill using the compatible app on your phone. The treadmill connects to the Gymax app, so you can track your workout metrics and adjust the treadmill’s speed.

What is a 2-in-1 treadmill?

A 2-in-1 treadmill is a small treadmill that allows you to use it at a standing desk and on its own in the middle of the room. The 2-in-1 design is in the handles and console that extend up and collapse down to use the treadmill safely both ways.
