WalkingPad is known for creating compact, foldable fitness equipment. WalkingPad, aka KingSmith Fitness, was founded in 2015 by CEO Albert Jing. With its headquarters in Beijing, China, WalkingPad sells equipment all over the world with one of its locations being in Dallas, Texas in the United States. Not only can you purchase WalkingPad treadmills on the company’s website, but you can purchase them on Amazon, Walmart, and Lowe’s.

What To Expect From WalkingPad

WalkingPad creates tiny treadmills that fold in half. From under-desk treadmills to 2-in-1 designs, the brand has a lot to offer with space-saving in mind. Not only can you expect compact treadmills that are storable and lightweight, but they work in most home and office settings. From their narrow under-desk treadmills that are sure to roll under any sized standing desk, to their walking and jogging designs that can be shoved in a closet out of the way, WalkingPad has a lot to offer.

WalkingPad C2 Under Desk Treadmill

WalkingPad C2 Under Desk Treadmill

The WalkingPad C2 is an under-desk treadmill that’s compact with a folding deck and it comes in multiple colors. We recommend the C2 primarily for use at a standing desk although, if you don’t have balance issues you can use the C2 on its own. It doesn’t have handles, so that’s why we recommend most people use it at a desk.

We consider the WalkingPad C2 to be one of the best under-desk treadmills on the market because it fits under most standing desks, is quiet, and takes up a small amount of space. It’s also only 5” high so it can be rolled under a bed or couch. For a treadmill that weighs around 55 lbs, the C2 is petite with a 220 lb weight limit. It’s easy to use with the display mounted on top of the motor hood to show your metrics and the handheld remote to adjust the speed. It goes up to 3.72 mph, so you have enough range to choose from different walking paces.

WalkingPad C1 Under Desk Treadmill

WalkingPad C1 Under Desk Treadmill

The WalkingPad C1 is WalkingPad’s most lightweight treadmill. It only weighs around 48 lbs so you can carry it around when you need to. It also has front wheels and the deck folds in half so it’s easy to move and store. It is around 5.5” tall when folded so you can fit it under your bed or in a closet when you’re not using it.

The C1 has a very slim design to fit under most standing desks. The walking surface is just 47” long and 16.5” wide. So, if your desk is small the C1 is a great pick. It handles users up to 220 lbs which is typical for a treadmill of its small size. The 8 feet that the deck is positioned on make this treadmill level so it won’t rock and it’s easy to step on and off of. You can see your metrics like time, speed, distance, and steps on the remote in your hand or download the KS Fit App to track your walking sessions and control the belt that way.

WalkingPad A1 Pro Under Desk Treadmill

WalkingPad A1 Pro Under Desk Treadmill

The WalkingPad A1 Pro is just as compact as the C1 and C2, but it has a 300 lb weight limit and it weighs a little more itself. At around 62 lbs, the A1 Pro is still easy to move by either carrying it or wheeling it around with its front transport wheels. The deck folds in half with a minimal fold hinge seam underfoot.

The A1 Pro comes in black and features a display built into the motor hood to track your metrics. It adjusts with a remote, your feet, and with the KS Fit App. The deck is positioned on the floor so this under-desk treadmill can fit under most standing desks. It doesn’t have handles so we recommend it for use at your desk primarily, although you can use it in the middle of the room, too. The walking surface is only 47” L and 16.5” W. It goes up to 3.72 mph, so those who want to walk at their desk while working should look into the WalkingPad A1 Pro.

WalkingPad R2 2-In-1 Treadmill

WalkingPad R2 2-In-1 Treadmill

For a little bit larger option that’s really versatile, check out the WalkingPad R2 2-In-1 Treadmill. This treadmill has a collapsible handle with uprights so you can use it safely on its own in the middle of the room or under a standing desk. At your desk you can walk up to 3.7 mph and on its own with the handles up, the R2 goes up to 7.45 mph. So, most people can walk and jog on the R2.

This treadmill weighs around 80 lbs but the deck folds in half and it can be stored upright or flat to shove it under a bed, in a closet, or against the wall out of the way. It handles users up to 240 lbs and has a 47” long and 17.3” wide belt for walking and jogging. Those with shorter running strides can even use the R2 at its max speed while needing a small amount of room to use the WalkingPad R2. We love this treadmill for its size and versatility so check it out if you need a compact, yet storable treadmill that you can use almost anywhere.

WalkingPad X21 Treadmill

WalkingPad X21 Treadmill

The WalkingPad X21 is the brand’s most expensive model. It is the largest treadmill in WalkingPad’s lineup, but it folds up twice to go from around 56” long to only 9” long. Talk about impressive! This treadmill can be rolled over to store against a wall when you’re not using it. It’s also a great option to use on its own because of the upright handle that doesn’t adjust.

The X21 has a 240 lb weight limit, weighs around 82 lbs itself, and allows you to walk and jog up to 7.45 mph. It has the largest belt at 47.6” long and 18” wide so most users will be able to walk and jog comfortably. If you have a shorter stride you might even be able to get up to the max speed. The display built into the handle easily displays your time, speed, distance, calories, and steps and the dial is easy to adjust the speed. Check out the WalkingPad X21 if you want a walking and jogging treadmill that’s still compact and really storable.

WalkingPad Folding Rower

WalkingPad Folding Rower

A new addition to the WalkingPad lineup is the WalkingPad Folding Rower. This is a wooden water rower that’s compact, lightweight, and affordable – especially compared to other water rowers on the market!

The Folding Rower has a unique 3-fold dual railing system that turns this rower from around 76” long to just 26” long. WalkingPad said it takes up around the same size as a suitcase, and we agree. You don’t need to worry about having a high enough ceiling to store this treadmill vertically because it folds up to only be around 23” tall. Although this is a smaller rower than others, it has a pretty comfortable seat, a tight belt to keep tension, and soothing sounding water tank while you row. We recommend the WalkingPad Folding Rower for beginners who don’t have a lot of space for a rower in their home.

Other Equipment From WalkingPad

WalkingPad includes a few other tiny treadmills that we haven’t tested yet, but we expect them to perform similarly to the others mentioned above. The WalkingPad P1 is an under-desk treadmill, while the R1 is a 2-In-1 design. Plus, for whichever under-desk treadmill you decide to go with, WalkingPad now sells an adjustable standing desk to go with.

Cons
  • The size and weight capacities are best for larger folks.
