Here is our list of best iFit treadmills of 2024 handpicked by our team.

1. Best Overall iFit Treadmill: NordicTrack X32i Incline Treadmill

Best Overall iFit Treadmill: NordicTrack X32i Incline Treadmill

Not only is the NordicTrack X32i Incline Treadmill the best overall iFit treadmill, but it’s at the top of our best treadmills list, too. We love NordicTrack Incline Trainers and this one has been our best pick for the past few years.

The treadmill on its own is very impressive. The X32i has a 4.25 CHP motor capable of handling heavy use, so feel free to train for that marathon on this one! The deck inclines up to 40% and declines to -6%. This is the highest incline range that we’ve tested on home treadmills, and let me tell you that 40% is brutal! The cushioning is some of the most forgiving we’ve run on. You don’t have to worry about joint pain or discomfort in your legs on the massive 22” x 65” deck.

As far as streaming iFit, you’ll be able to view all the impressive locations and never miss a beat with the gigantic 32” touch screen. The screen is the largest on any treadmill we’ve tested and really makes you feel like you’re with the iFit instructor in whatever beautiful location the class is in. Plus, for iFit’s mat classes like strength training and yoga, the screen is plenty large to see when you’re off the deck, too. The X32i’s screen is kind of like having a TV attached to your treadmill if the TV only streamed iFit.

Some added bonuses on the NordicTrack X32i are the fan, quick-touch adjustment buttons, and a variety of handlebars. The fan cools you off when you’re sweaty with multiple airflow settings. We love quick adjustment buttons because they make interval training and adjusting treadmills quick and simple. The layout of the ones on the X32i is our favorite. With side handles, upper handles, and a front horizontal handle, you’ll have balance assistance when you need it and even the choice for some sled-pushing.

2. Best iFit Treadmill For Home Use: NordicTrack Commercial 1750 Treadmill

Best iFit Treadmill For Home Use: NordicTrack Commercial 1750 Treadmill

The NordicTrack 1750 is a really great all-around treadmill. It’s one of NordicTrack’s top-selling treadmills because of its features and high quality. The 1750 holds the spot as the best treadmill for home use on our best treadmills list, and we feel the same about it as the best iFit treadmill for home use.

The 1750 has a 14” touch screen that’s centered on the console. With this adequate size, you’ll be able to see all of iFit’s library, as well as your training metrics in every class. My favorite aspect of the screen is that it’s highly adjustable. The screen can be tilted up and down to point right at you, no matter your height, and it pivots to either side for off-treadmill training. I personally love taking a running class, and then turning the screen and following it up with a strength or stretching class, depending on how I’m feeling.

Of course, there’s so much more to love about the NordicTrack 1750, beyond the screen. The 3.5 CHP motor is quiet and ideal for all levels of use. The 12 mph max speed and 15% incline, and -3% decline offer plenty of variety with your training. The cushioning is soft, yet never bouncy, too.

The streamlined design is clean, yet functional and I love the luxurious texture on the side handles. Add in that the deck folds up, and the treadmill is relatively easy to move around, you’ll have an excellent iFit treadmill to consider for your home.

3. Best Folding iFit Treadmill: ProForm Pro 9000 Treadmill

Best Folding iFit Treadmill: ProForm Pro 9000 Treadmill

ProForm is known for offering functional, compact treadmills that offer the same features as NordicTrack’s but at a lower price point. The Pro 9000 is ProForm’s premium model. This treadmill is a favorite for its size, training capabilities, and gorgeous touch screen.

If you’re looking for a folding iFit treadmill that saves some space, this is one to check out. The deck is 60” long so any stride length will be able to walk, run, and sprint on the Pro 9000. The deck not only folds up but it’s a little narrower at 20” to provide you with plenty of room while using, and also a little extra wiggle room for storing the treadmill.

We love that the deck declines to -3%. It might not seem like much, but it makes all the difference when working your muscles. Training on a slight decline strengthens the front of your legs. You’ll also work your posterior chain well with the 12% incline range. The 3.6 CHP motor makes the ProForm Pro 9000 great for users of all fitness levels. Even long-distance runners can train on this deck.

Now for the gorgeous 22” touch screen. This screen size is my favorite on fitness equipment. It’s plenty large, easy to use, and it’s crisp to really highlight the impressive film quality in iFit’s classes. Adjusting the Pro 9000 is quick and seamless with the quick-touch adjustment buttons at the bottom of the screen. HIIT training is really fun on this design.

5. Best iFit Treadmill For Netflix: Matrix TF30 Treadmill

Best iFit Treadmill For Netflix: Matrix TF30 Treadmill

If you’re a diehard iFit fan, you might be thinking: iFit and Netflix – that isn’t possible! And you’re right for the most part, streaming from apps like Netflix isn’t possible on the other best iFit treadmills. On this best iFit treadmill though, you can stream iFit and Netflix.

The Matrix TF30 comes with 3 different display options. You’ll need to opt for the XIR or XER displays in order to use iFit and Netflix though. In our experience, the XIR’s 16” touch screen is optimal for streaming both apps, however, you should still have plenty of visibility with the 10” touch screen on the XER display. In addition to watching Netflix and training with iFit, you can also stream from Hulu and Youtube, as well as check your social media accounts like Facebook and Instagram. You can even browse the internet. And don’t worry, with iFit you’ll have access to all of its wonderful features like AutoAdjust, ActivePulse, and Google Maps on the Matrix TF30, just as you do on all the other models on this list.

The Matrix TF30 is a solid treadmill that has a folding deck and a 3.25 HP motor. It’s capable of handling walking all the way up to running. Keep in mind though that the deck is just 55” long, so users with long strides might not be able to fully run and sprint. Walking and jogging shouldn’t be an issue for most though. The 350 lb weight capacity makes it more suitable for larger users.

Factors To Consider When Purchasing An iFit Treadmill

There are some things to keep in mind when you’re looking for an iFit treadmill.

Purchase A Treadmill Enabled With iFit

Although iFit does have a mobile app, in order to get the most out of iFit and utilize all its features, you will need to purchase a treadmill that has the software on it. This treadmill will be from NordicTrack, ProForm, or Matrix. All of these brands sell iFit-enabled fitness equipment.

The iFit features that you get on treadmills that are enabled with the app are AutoAdjust, ActivePulse, and Google Maps. AutoAdjust is where the treadmill automatically adjusts the speed and incline based on the terrain of the class and the instructor’s cues. This makes for a hands-free experience where you just have to worry about keeping up. You can bypass this by adjusting the treadmill yourself at any time.

When you have a compatible heart tracker connected through Bluetooth to your iFit-enabled treadmill, you can track your heart rate on the screen. iFit will encourage you to keep your heart rate within a specific range and even adjust the treadmill to encourage you to work at a certain intensity level.

iFit also uses a Google Map feature that lets you draw your own route anywhere in the world. When you’re ready to follow the route, Google Images pop up as you move through the area to show you the surrounding. This is fun if you want to take a break from a trainer-led class and explore on your own.

iFit Treadmill Features

Another factor to consider when purchasing an iFit treadmill and a treadmill in general, is the features. Things like max speed, incline range, storage, transportation, deck size, motor, and cushioning are important to know before buying any treadmill. You want to be sure what the treadmill offers, aligns with your goals.

For example, if you love hiking up mountains on iFit, you’ll most likely want a treadmill that inclines high and even declines. If you’re a runner who loves taking HIIT studio classes on iFit, then you’ll probably want a treadmill with a large deck, motor, and even some quick-touch adjustment buttons.

Touch Screen Size

Not all iFit-enabled treadmills come with touch screens, but most do. If you want to stream iFit’s classes, you’ll most likely want an attached touch screen on your treadmill. These screens come in various sizes typically ranging from as small as 7” up to 32”. Depending on your visibility, you might need a larger screen to see everything more clearly.

Price Range

The price of the treadmill is also important. Unless you have an unlimited budget, you are probably in search of a treadmill that falls within a certain price point. A price of an iFit treadmill can depend on the features and brand. For instance, treadmills from ProForm tend to be lower in price than comparable models from NordicTrack.
