The NordicTrack Commercial Series has a history of strong, durable, user-friendly treadmills. The 1750, 2450, and 2950 are all folding, powerful, and sturdy, with excellent consoles enabled with iFit. NordicTrack makes some of our favorite treadmills for home use, and we won’t hesitate to recommend any of them. They are all excellent!
But we know many of you have questions about which one is right for you and your household. This entry-level model is NordicTrack’s best-seller. It comes at a good reasonable price, and for the second year in a row, it has been named our Best Treadmill for Home Use. This treadmill has an outstanding balance of features. The bright 10” touch screen isn’t large, but it’s practical. The 3.75 HP motor isn’t as powerful as the others, but it’s more than adequate as an entry-base model. It supports one or two users who enjoy walking, jogging, or running.
With 50 pre-programmed workouts, there is plenty to choose from to get a solid workout. At 339 pounds boxed, this is a heavy treadmill but is in line with others in its class. This is consistently one of NordicTrack’s top-selling treadmills because of its excellent price point and features.
NordicTrack Commercial 2450

The mid-range 2450 is a step-up for households with multiple users. Not only that, it has a larger 14” touchscreen but remains reasonably priced. The larger screen is nice for those with vision problems. A slightly larger 4.0 HP motor powers this machine making it durable. Even with the larger motor, this model is quieter, smoother, and more responsive.
The 2450 is great for various uses but is excellent for running, HIIT, or speed work. There are 50 pre-programmed workouts to choose from, the same as the 1750. Cushioning is slightly better than the entry-level 1750. With a boxed weight of 339 pounds, it’s the same as the 1750 but lighter than the 2950. The Nordictrack 2450 is one of our favorite treadmills, and we love the updates..
NordicTrack Commercial 2950
The large 22″ touchscreen of the NordicTrack 2950
The NordicTrack 2950 is the top-recommended treadmill for serious trainers like sprinters and marathoners. It has the largest motor at 4.25 HP and is the winner of our Best Treadmill For Runners for 2024. Sporting the largest screen of the bunch at 22”, it’s easy to see from across the room if you choose to cross-train. With trainer-led classes on the large screen, you can add yoga, weight lifting, and other workouts to your running. There are 40 pre-programmed workouts on this model.
Consider delivery and setup for this treadmill. As the heaviest of the three treadmills, the 2950 has a boxed weight of 360 pounds. This is also the most expensive of the three treadmills, but the 2950 comes with all these features making it worth the expense for serious and experienced athletes.
Functionality:
NordicTrack 1750
A smooth and primarily quiet treadmill at a great price. Loaded with top-end features you will love, but has the smallest screen at 10” and motor. Great for households of one or two people.
Noise factor: 3 mph, a touch of noise. 6 mph is somewhat noisy. 8 mph is the loudest but not overwhelming. This is the noisiest of the three but is still considered quiet.
NordicTrack 2450
Easy to use l4” console with a very smooth and quiet deck. Fine for multiple users as it has a powerful, larger motor than the 1750.
Noise factor: Slight noise at 3 mph. 6 mph is a little noisy. 8 mph has some noise. But quiet overall.
NordicTrack 2950
The streamlined console and a massive 22” screen with a large, powerful motor are very appealing for serious athletes who need the highest quality folding treadmill available.
Noise factor: Walking is only very slightly noisy at 3 mph. At 6 mph, you can hear foot noise. 8 mph, you hear more foot noise, but still quiet. This is the most silent treadmill of the three.
Noise factor for all three: Similar overall, with the 1750 being the loudest.

Commercial 1750
For homes with one or two users looking to stay fit and need a solid treadmill for a reasonable price. The attractive family iFit membership for the month opens up so many different opportunities to train. This treadmill is the best bang for the buck.
Commercial 2450
Best for users who want a cushioned, easy to use, quiet treadmill that won’t disturb others, particularly when inclining or declining the deck. The 1-month iFit membership and plenty of storage space onboard are super convenient. Particularly excellent for those that need a bigger screen to see better and navigate the console.
Commercial 2950
It is recommended for serious athletes or homes with multiple users. The generous cushioning and colossal touch screen make it smooth and very immersive, giving the user a real-life feel. It suits all types of athletes looking for a high-quality machine with a small footprint that will last for many years. This is the most powerful folding treadmill NordicTrack makes.

If you’re looking for a treadmill to accommodate the whole family, durable enough, and has enough features to keep everyone happy, the 2450 may be right for you. Smaller screen than the 2950 but with ten more pre-programmed workouts than the top-end unit, you will be pleased with the lower price and not much drop-off in performance.
Now for those new to fitness or finally getting back into it, the 1750 brings plenty to the table. Sure there is a smaller motor, and the touch screen is reduced in size. Still, those same core elements NordicTrack injects into their treadmills are there: durability, comfortability, and functionality.
