. For some of us getting on a treadmill is like scratching your finger nails down a chalk board! What if there were treadmills that gave you a good workout without making you feel like jumping off after 5 minutes in your cardio workout. Nordic Track Treadmills are coming out with new lines of Treadmills for every athlete that are not only challenging, but take the monotony of running in place completely away.

A couple tips to running on a treadmill to increase heart rate cardio and intervals are:
1- Start by walking at a moderate pace of 3.5 to 4 for 10-12 minutes
2- Increase the incline to 4 and speed the pace to a moderate jog at speed of 5.5 for 2 minutes
3- Bring the speed back down to 3.5 and return the incline back down to starting height for 3 minutes.
